What PPF actually is
A thick, optically clear film applied directly over painted panels. It absorbs impacts from gravel and road debris, resists bug and bird-dropping etching, and blocks UV that dulls paint. You see the paint, not the film.
Self-healing top coat
Light swirls and fine scratches in the top coat relax and close up with heat from the sun or warm water. That is why a protected hood can look freshly detailed for years instead of collecting wash marks.
Where to put it
Most people protect the impact zones: front bumper, hood, fenders and mirrors, plus rocker panels and door cups. Exotic and new-car owners often go full body. We will show you where your car actually takes damage and quote coverage to match.
Fitted to the panel
Film is cut from vehicle-specific patterns and wrapped around edges where the panel allows it, so the lines disappear. Clean edges are the difference between protection you notice and protection you do not.

Questions
Is PPF the same as a ceramic coating?
No. PPF is a physical film that stops chips and scratches. A ceramic coating is a thin liquid layer that adds gloss and makes washing easier but does not stop rock chips. Many owners put a coating on top of PPF for both.
Can you see paint protection film on the car?
Good film installed well is very hard to spot. Up close you may find an edge on a panel where the film cannot wrap around, which we keep as tight and low as possible.
Should I get PPF on a new car right away?
The best time is before the paint picks up its first chips. New cars still get a full prep, because dealer lots and transport leave contamination and light marring.
How do I wash a car with PPF?
Hand wash with a pH-neutral shampoo after the film has cured. Avoid pointing a pressure washer straight at film edges, and skip abrasive compounds on the film.
