How it works
Three steps to your shade
Pick a film, set each window and spin the car. The simulator checks every window against Florida law as you go, then sends your setup to us for a quote.
Pick the film
Choose one of the four Autobahn lines. Each one shows its shade range and Autobahn's heat rejection figure.
Set every window
Front sides, rear sides, back glass and a windshield strip. Each window turns green or red against Florida law.
Send it to us
Hit "Quote this setup". Your film and shades drop into the form below, so we can price your actual car.
FAQ
Simulator questions
How accurate is the tint simulator?
It is a close preview, not a photo of your car. Screens differ, and film on real glass reads a little darker than its rating because factory glass is not perfectly clear. Come by the shop and we will hold real samples up to your windows.
Why does the simulator say a shade is not legal?
Florida sets the darkest shade allowed for each window: 28% on the front side windows of every vehicle, 15% on the rear windows of cars, and 6% on the rear windows of SUVs, trucks and vans. The windshield can only have a strip along the top.
Can I tint my windshield in Florida?
Only a strip along the top, above the AS-1 line marked on the glass. That is the only windshield option in the simulator.
Is the car in the simulator my car?
No. It is a concept car used to preview shades and colors. Send us your year, make and model with your setup and we will quote your actual vehicle.
