Ceramic windowtint in Miramar, FL
Florida sun is the reason most people tint. Ceramic film is the version that actually fights the heat: it holds back infrared and UV without the metal layers that mess with phone signal, GPS and radio.

The details
Why ceramic, not cheap dyed film
Dyed film darkens the glass and that is about it. It turns purple, bubbles and fades in this climate. Ceramic film is built with non-metallic nano-ceramic particles that reject heat instead of just blocking light, so even a lighter shade keeps the cabin noticeably cooler. It stays color-stable, it does not interfere with electronics, and it looks clean from the outside.
Cut to your glass, not to a guess
Patterns are cut on a plotter from vehicle-specific templates, then finished by hand on the car. That means tight, even edges along the top of the glass, film that runs right to the dot matrix, and no knife on your paint or seals.
What you will notice the first week
The seats and steering wheel are not scorching when you get in. The AC catches up faster. Glare off wet roads and windshields at sunset is easier on the eyes. And the interior stops cooking: UV is what fades and cracks dashboards and leather.
The film: Autobahn ceramic
We install Autobahn Window Films. Ceramic i3+ is the flagship, rated by Autobahn at up to 74% of total solar energy rejected, and Ceramic i3 at up to 71% with shades as light as 70%. Both are rated at over 99% UV rejection. Compare all four Autobahn lines on our Autobahn page, or try them on a 3D car in the tint simulator.
Pick a shade that is legal and looks right
Florida sets minimums for how much light your windows have to let through, and they differ for cars and for SUVs, trucks and vans. We walk you through what is legal for your vehicle before anything goes on the glass. Compare shades in the guide below, or read our Florida tint law guide.

Figures are Autobahn Window Films' published numbers ("up to", measured on the darkest shade of each line). Lighter shades reject less. *Autobahn lists a lifetime warranty for Ceramic i3+ and i3 on installs registered by its authorized dealers; terms are Autobahn's. Source: autobahnwindowfilms.com.

FAQ
Questions
How long does ceramic tint take to install?
Most cars are done the same day. A full car with a windshield strip usually takes a few hours; trucks and SUVs with more glass take longer. Call and we will give you a time for your vehicle.
When can I roll my windows down after tint?
Give the film a few days to cure before rolling the windows down, longer in cool or rainy weather. Small hazy spots or water pockets right after install are normal and dry out as the film cures.
Is ceramic tint worth it over regular tint?
If heat is the main reason you are tinting, yes. Ceramic rejects far more heat than basic dyed film at the same darkness, it does not fade purple, and it will not interfere with electronics.
Can you remove old, bubbling tint first?
Yes. Old film and its adhesive are removed and the glass is cleaned before new film goes on, including the rear window with defroster lines, which takes care so the lines are not damaged.
How do I clean tinted windows?
Wait until the film has cured, then use a soft microfiber towel and an ammonia-free glass cleaner. Skip razor blades and abrasive pads on the film side.
